Hi! My name is Silje Jensen...
While growing up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, I was raised in a Danish household and always with the mindset of being a global citizen. Only few months after graduating from Shaker Heights High School did I decide to take on the world firsthand, and take my yoga practice with me as I traveled. By that time, I had been practicing yoga habitually for several years and completed my first Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) mentorship in September of 2023. Throughout my travels, which took me all from Bali to Costa Rica to France, I expanded my mental and physical practices. The most important aspect of traveling was all of the social and emotional growth that can only be self-realized. Listening to and learning from people around the world undoubtedly shaped who I am both on and off the mat.

To date, I have 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training and have taught 100+ classes at my home studio, Yoga Roots, in Cleveland Heights.

I am currently a Physiology and Philosophy student at the University of Toronto in downtown Toronto. I am beyond happy to call Toronto home and I am eager to see where my journey will take me.
